Association Research Inc.(ARI) is a scientific & technical research company run by a team of highly qualified professionals. ARI decided to use cutting-edge technology tools to improve business processes and to reduce response time in delivering services to their clients.

ARI chose to set up an IT infrastructure that would allow them to host their own web server, without having to depend upon outside hosting services. They installed a partial T1 pipe to their facility for Internet connections.

We designed and implemented the complete IT solution based on a Windows 2000 server backbone. We installed the firewall, domain servers, exchange server for email, SQL Server, and Microsoft's IIS server. We also installed enterprise-level virus protection, and we set up back-up and disaster-recovery procedures.

ARI services to their clients include intensive report generation and delivery of these reports to the clients via various modes of communications, like regular mails and emails. This process was repetitive and costly.

We have developed a contact database application using Visual Basic for the front end, GUI and SQL Server for the database. Every company and its representatives are set up to receive reports by email, fax or regular mail. ARI can now also offer these clients the ability to log on to the ARI web site, and retrieve their regular and archieved reports whenever they are needed.

These clients also now have the ability to send data electronically, by dropping data files on the web. This application drastically reduced the cost of operations, and improved the value of services offered to their clients by reducing response times.
