Working as a subcontractor to Computex Inc., we designed and installed a complete computer network system for a small company making asphalt.

The complete IT solution was based on Windows 2000 server backbone. We installed the firewall, domain servers, and SQL Server Database. We also installed enterprise- level virus protection and set up backup and disaster recovery procedures.

In addition, DSI designed and implemented event-driven ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) processes that transferred data from different production sites to the client's corporate office. We also designed an automated backup system for critical data residing on work stations to a centralized data repository.
