Datalinks has been successful in implementing and maintaining
IT infrastructure for small businesses. DSI designs internal
networks based on Microsoft Windows 2000. The client uses
Microsoft Domain Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server
for e-mail, SQL Server 2000 for database applications, SQL
Analysis Server for OLAP solutions for clients, Microsoft's
ISS Server for Web applications, a Router Firewall, Enterprise
level virus protection, Enterprise level faxing facilities
with IT backup and a disaster recovery policy. DSI designed
a network based on two servers with hot swap and RAID 5 capability.
The associates use computers using Windows XP Professional.
We also install a virus protection program at Enterprise level that updates automatically. Thus, associates don't have to worry about the latest virus protection updates. Web browsing and e-mails are scanned for viruses. DSI designs OLAP services and develops an application that allows customers to get files and information via e-mail, fax, regular mail and the web. Similarly, clients can send files by dropping them on the web site or they can use ftp services in addition to e-mailing attachments and mailing data on disks. DSI maintains and monitors the networks through secure remote access. |
